Sidl Masonry Heating is a family owned business on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. We specialize in Austrian masonry heaters, thermal storage fireplaces, wood fired bake ovens, and decorative concrete surfaces
We believe in heating, cooking and baking in the environmentally friendly way provided by wood. Our Austrian masonry heaters and wood fired bake ovens are each individually designed and calculated to ensure the most efficient combustion and heat distribution is provide.
Carl Sidl first learnt the trade of building masonry heaters in Nova Scotia from Austrian stove master Ernst Kiesling and by working with numerous stove builders in Austria and Northern Italy to widen his experience and knowledge before bringing Austrian masonry heaters to Western Canada.

To ensure that we offer the best quality product, we use only the best material in our masonry heaters. The high quality refractory material that we use is specifically designed and produced for use in masonry heaters. We import this material from company Rath of Austria. Our air tight fire doors are supplied by Hoxter of the Czech Republic. By combining these two company's products, we can offer you a high quality masonry heater operating at the highest efficiency.
